High Quality Glass Water Bottles

When it comes to health, glass water bottles have been known to meet all the health safety requirements while maintaining the purity of water and being eco-friendly – they are generally great for the environment!  Most manufacturing companies involved in glass production have kept up with changing trends in health standards to produce contaminent-free, high quality glass water bottles.

The manufacturing process for glass water bottles is similar to the manufacturing process for other glass bottles. Raw glass is crushed and then melted in a furnace. The molten glass is blown into various shapes and sizes.  It is then passed through an annealing oven.  This helps cool the glass slowly at regulated temperatures as rapid cooling may result in breakage.  The glass is then carefully inspected for blemishes by people and then  by laser which may pick up imperfections or uneven thickness which the human eye may not detect.   Most BPA-free glass water bottles are also inspected at this point for the presence of any impurities or contaminents that may be a health risk to the consumer.  A second inspection of each type is usually done to ensure high quality.

The glass bottles are then sorted by size, shape and colour and then packed  for delivery in cartons or crates or sent through other manufacturing processes.  One of the processes is more annealing to ensure bottles are hard and capable of withstanding minor drop.
